On January 8 the Jacksonville Jaguars will take on the Tennessee Titans, but before the game begins, you can join Girl Scouts, their families, and their friends for a Tailgate experience! Here’s everything you need to know about Girl Scout Day with the Jacksonville Jaguars, from buying your tickets to heading home after the game.
First things first: Get your tickets before they run out!
This is a friends and family event, which means you don’t need
to be a registered member to purchase tickets. Plus, as a bonus, a
portion of your ticket price gets donated back to Girl Scouts of
Gateway Council to support our mission. What a great deal! Tickets are
$45 for girl members in-council and $40 for everyone else. In-council
girl member tickets include lunch, other tickets do not. Hurry, the
registration deadline for this event is December 15th!
Event Logistics
Prior to the event, you'll receive a
confirmation email with a map and the full details about how to find
our tailgate event. Tickets to the football game will be handed out at
the tailgate before kickoff.
Tailgate Activities
In addition to turning TIAA Bank Tower Girl Scout Green, there
will be a ton of ways we’ll show our Girl Scout and Jaguar Spirit at
the Tailgate. Challenge your troop, group, or family to activities
like archery and yoga, participate in STEM experiments, make a SWAP
craft, take selfies at our photobooth, get your face painted, and so
much more! Plus, snag the latest Girl Scout gear at the
Girl Scout Store on the Road! We’ll have uniforms, insignia,
patches, official apparel, and more!
There will be a hot dog stand so you can eat your fill! Remember: lunch is included with youth tickets, but coaches (adults) will have to purchase theirs at the food trucks.
The Game
We’ll make announcements leading up to kickoff,
so you’ll know when to head to the stadium to find your seats. Our
Girl Scout spirit will turn Jags Stadium green during the game as we
cheer on your Jacksonville Jaguars as they take on the Tennessee
Titans. “DUVAL!”
After the Game
After the game, we’ll all head our
separate ways. Don't forget, a Girl Scout always leaves
a place better than she found it.
Be sure to take all your
belongings with you!
