Daisy Chain members contribute $1,000 or more each year to Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. This annual dedication helps Girl Scouts of Gateway Council provide the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to all girls, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Your generosity helps fund:
Girls living at or near poverty level often are unaware of long-term options for themselves outside of their immediate environment. Help break the cycle of poverty for more than 3,000 girls in need to give them the confidence, life and leadership skills necessary to achieve academic success.
Beyond participating in incredible activities like kayaking, archery, swimming, and outdoor cooking (just to name a few), when a girl goes to camp she grows self-confidence, learns healthy risk-taking, gains leadership skills, creates a community that values differences and discovers that anything is possible!
Give every girl the opportunity to experience life-changing, girl-led programming that combines life skills, STEM, the outdoors, and entrepreneurship with civic engagement: everything girls need to build a better world today.
Whether a Girl Scout is interested in starting her own business, coding the next social network, or changing public policy, through the Girl Scouts core program pillars—STEM, Outdoor, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship - girls of all interests can discover their skills, talents, and passions; connect with people of all backgrounds and experiences; and take action to create the change they want to see in the world.
