Girl Scout Alum Network

You know Girl Scouts as the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And now, we've created a community of likeminded advocates who feel passionately about coming together in support of girls.

It's the Girl Scout Network: a powerful community of adults—Girl Scout alums and supporters from across the country—who believe in preparing girls to be the leaders of the future.

Our mission is to actively reconnect a diverse network of Girl Scout Alums by providing a range of opportunities that foster a lifetime of leadership, sisterhood and engagement within their community.

Our Committees:

Advocacy: We will work to support the Girl Scout USA Legislative Agenda within local communities and find opportunities to connect with Girl Scouts Gateway Council on Civic Engagement for current Girl Scouts. We will also partner with the council on the annual Girl Scouts Day at the Capitol.
Community Engagement: We will be involved in creating volunteer opportunities council-wide to give back to our local communities through the 35 counties we service. We will support Girl Scouts of Gateway Council through a Girl Scouts service day, partnering with troops on their volunteer events, and partnering with local businesses for Girl Scouts Give Back nights.
Professional Development: We will support Girl Scouts USA's new Fair Play, Equal Pay initiative by preparing girls and alum to reach their goals by developing mentorship opportunities, hosting online soft-skills workshops and webinars and eventually holding in-person networking series.
Community and Re-engagement: We will strive for a diverse Alum Network that represents all alum by planning fun and engaging social activities throughout the council and organizing an annual Alum Weekend Retreat and Meeting. Social activities will include happy hours, mother - daughter Girl Scout days and partnering with Community Engagement Committee on Girl Scouts Give Back nights.
