Become a Super Troop

It's a bird, it's a plane... it's a SUPER TROOP! While Girl Scouts can't fly (yet), your troop now has the chance to become a Girl Scouts of Gateway Council Super Troop. With this distinction, not only do you get bragging rights, each member of your troop will also recieve an exlusive Super Troop patch and recognition at our Annual Meeting and on our social media pages.

What makes a Super Troop?

Getting bitten by a radioactive spider? Struck by lightening? Bombarded by cosmic waves? Luckly, becoming super Girl Scouts is a lot more fun! Super Troops participate in all major aspects of the Girl Scout experience, including the four program pillars, product programs and more. They are involved in their communities and in the Council. 

Whether you're a new troop trying out the full range of Girl Scout opportunities, or an experienced troop looking to shake things up, becoming a Super Troop is a fun and exciting way to enhance your Girl Scout year.

So, how does my troop become a Super Troop?

Check out our Super Troop guidelines and plan your troop year accordingly! Once you've completed all of our requirements, submit your completed Super Troop Guidebook to us at customercare@girlscouts-gateway.org by October 6, 2023.
